Project: Museiko Children’s Museum
Client: Skolnick Architecture + Design
Role: Logo/brand development
Museiko means “little museum” in cyrillic, the language used in Bulgaria. Museiko was the first children's museum in Bulgaria and designed by the team at Skolnick Architecture + Design. The museum had 3 floors of hands-on interactive exhibits and was designed as “a journey through space and time.” My role worked on the design of the logo, color palette, branded assets, and entrance signage to represent the whimsical nature of the building and exhibits. The design of the building took on these faceted planes so we thought it only natural that these shapes were incorporated into the logo. From there, the client asked us to bring in some type of monster characters that they could use in marketing and branding. I created these creatures using bright colors, a simple eye (that changed direction), and the triangle faceted shapes.
