This started as a personal project over the 2020-21 pandemic. I photographed, edited, added color to highlight the beautiful structures and dwellings in the amazing place I live. Most photos were taken on walks or runs or excursions in my free time. From garages to barns to historic churches, beauty can be found everywhere. And then with such positive feedback from the community, I was encouraged to find a local partner who could benefit from these images.
Working with WomenSafe, a local nonprofit, I designed a calendar featuring a different photo each month along with a feature on the organization and their housing for safe families initiative. The calendar was used as a fundraising incentive for donors for their end of year giving campaign.
